Spotlight on Music

The music department has been busy preparing for our Spring Concerts and participating in many events across the region to support our student musicians. We are so grateful to Mr. China, Mr. DeGiovine, Mr. Lavender, Mr. Magagnoli, and Mrs. Wratten for all they for our students!

Jr. High All-County Festival (March 27-28)

The following students spent a weekend in March at Adirondack High School rehearsing challenging repertoire and ending with a stellar concert for a jam-packed audience. They were accepted into ensembles based on auditions in January and joined fellow musicians from other Oneida County schools to work with guest conductors for an amazing experience. Congratulations!

Elementary All-County Festival (April 24-25)

Clinton is proud of these 6th graders for their musical achievements and a weekend full of rehearsing demanding repertoire. Westmoreland High School hosted the festival which wrapped up in an impressive concert with standout performances by orchestra, chorus, and band. Our very own Mr. Giovanni Magagnoli was the guest conductor for the orchestra. Kudos to all!!
