Clinton Elementary School’s Green Team is taking part in a Plastic Film Recycling Challenge through the Trex Company!
Throughout November, students are collecting clean, dry plastic film items that cannot be recycled through regular curbside recycling programs. The goal is to collect 500 pounds of plastic film this month to help keep waste out of local landfills.
Please bring accepted plastic film items to school with your student for proper recycling!
Acceptable items (must be clean and dry):
• Grocery bags
• Bread bags
• Case overwrap
• Dry cleaning bags
• Newspaper sleeves
• Ice bags
• Wood pellet bags
• Ziploc and other reclosable bags
• Produce bags
• Bubble wrap
• Salt bags
• Cereal bags
