Thanks to the generosity of our community, PTA and district, our 8th graders spent an incredible day in New York City. From the 4:15 start to the day to the midnight return to school, students made memories and enjoyed their time together. We had a quick but wonderful visit to the Intrepid Museum following be an amazing matinee of The Outsiders musical.
We saw Lady Liberty from a harbor cruise and experienced a good amount of NYC traffic. Huge thanks to all of our donors and to Mrs. Abel and Mrs. Dwyer for the important part they played in planning this trip. We are also grateful for our chaperones for joining us on this long and fun-filled day.
Finally, we are so impressed with how our students handled the trip- they represented CCS well! Stay gold, class of 2030!
