Coding Comes to Life in the Elementary Library

Fourth and fifth grade students at Clinton Elementary School recently had an opportunity to explore coding and robotics during a hands-on activity.

Working in teams, students used Sphero BOLT+ robots and the Sphero Edu app on iPads to complete a learning challenge that required programming the robots to navigate a miniature golf course set up throughout the library. Along the way, students used imagination, curiosity and flexible thinking to solve problems creatively as they tested and adjusted their code to achieve the perfect shot.
