Clinton Senior Laura Peck to Compete at Utica Stampede Rodeo and Expo

Clinton High School senior Laura Peck will compete in the Utica Stampede Rodeo and Expo on Friday, July 31 at the Adirondack Bank Center at the Utica Memorial Auditorium.

The rodeo brings together top professionals from throughout the northeast for two days of bull riding, barrel racing, bareback horse riding, team roping and more. Laura will compete in barrel racing with her horse, Streaks Arson, who she trains and rides five days per week at her family’s farm.

Laura is a member of the National Barrel Horse Association and she has competed in barrel racing events throughout the northeast, as well as the Youth Worlds in Georgia. She has been competing primarily in barrel races and horse shows over the last decade, but recently transition to rodeo competitions.
