Clinton High School Celebrates National Honor Society Inductees

Thirty-two juniors were inducted into the Clinton High School chapter of the National Honor Society during a ceremony held March 11, recognizing their academic achievement and commitment to leadership, service and character.

Students selected for the National Honor Society must maintain a grade point average of at least 90 and demonstrate the organization’s four pillars: scholarship, service, leadership and character. Induction reflects not only strong academic performance, but also a dedication to positively contributing to the school and community.

Membership in the National Honor Society is considered one of the highest honors awarded to high school students. Inducted students have demonstrated a commitment to excellence in the classroom while also serving as role models through their involvement in school activities, volunteer efforts and leadership opportunities.

The following students were inducted: Andrew Bashant, Jackson Bean, Eliana Bentley, Sam Bono III, Alexis Chan, Olivia Copperwheat, Anthony Cosentino, Lilian Crissey, Grace Elefante, Youssef Elmarakby, Keegan Faria, Xavier Gemelli, Alexander Gleboff, Douglas Goodwillie, Shelby Haberbusch, Everett Heintz, Ella Kelly, Jude Leising, Claire MacPherson, Ari Macri, Kiersten Majka, Lydia Marhenke, Antimo Pellecchia, Devyn Roy, Emily Roy, Amelia Saber, Clara Shaw, Eli Siepiola, Mac Spadea, Benjamin Topi, Sabrina Vogel and Delainey Williams.

The ceremony celebrated the students’ accomplishments and recognized their continued dedication to academic excellence, community service and leadership within the Clinton Central School District.
