The Clinton boys and girls varsity cross country teams celebrated their seniors in style on Oct. 8 at the Kirkland Town Park, earning victories over Mount Markham, West Canada Valley and Poland in non-divisional competition.

Senior Day recognized the contributions of boys cross country seniors Martin Amuso, Jack Wratten, Rowan Dawes and Ryan Squires, along with girls cross country seniors Natalie Cortright, Ella Brehaut and Alice Gaetano.

The varsity boys dominated the field, claiming eight of the top ten finishes in the 33-runner race. The varsity girls were equally impressive, taking seven of the top ten spots. Senior Natalie Cortright led the way for the girls, winning the race and helping secure the team’s overall victory.

It was a fitting celebration for the Clinton seniors, whose leadership and dedication have helped drive the program’s continued success.
