2020-2021 Reopening Plan Submitted

Clinton Community and Families:

We have successfully submitted our official reopening plan to the New York State Education Department and New York State Department of Health.

I thank you for your comments and reflections that you provided over the last couple of days; I know it was a lot to absorb.

The good news is that we now have time to educate and inform our parents, students, and community about the details of the plans.  We are also able to make changes as necessary.

In the coming weeks, I will be communicating components of the plan in more detail, especially the student schedules portions.  We have made some changes to those sections based on your input and you can see that portion with the direct link below.

Full Reopening Plan Document (72 pages)

This is the full plan that describes everything, including social distancing, cleaning, the wearing of masks, transportation, etc.

School Schedules Subsection

This is the section that describes the second iteration of the format of a hybrid model of instruction to start the school year in September.  It is a snapshot that will evolve over the next month after more input from all stakeholders.  It now also includes information regarding 100% online students.

Again I thank you for your thoughtful input and look forward to being able to provide more information in more digestible amounts in the coming weeks.
