Miss Jessie Mastracco
Welcome to 6th grade resource room/ Learning center!
I am looking forward to my fourth year with the Clinton Central School District! It has been a pleasure working along side such a wonderful team and becoming a part of the community.
After high school, I attended SUNY Cortland where I received my BA in Inclusive Special Education. Following the completion of my undergraduate degree in 2011, I began my teaching career with the Liverpool Central School District, teaching resouce room in grades 1-6. I then worked for the Holland Patent Central School District, where I taught resouce room in grades 1-6. This was an exciting time for me beacuase this was the school that I grew up in! While teaching, I completed my MS. in Literacy Education.
When I am not in the classroom, I love to spend time with my family (especially with the newest member of our family my cousin Cole!), head to camp with a good book, fish, and take my energetic dogs Maggie, Luna, and Hank for walks. Maggie and Hank sometimes like to get themselves into a lot of trouble while I'm away at work. So I am sure your students will be hearing many stories about my spunky pups!
I look forward to working with you and your child this school year! In room 118, each day we strive for excellence and push ourselves to be the best we can be! I hope that my students can gain confidence in their academic abilities and have a successful school year!
Thoughout the school year a good tool to refer to for resources as well as information regarding resource room is our google classroom. Each student has a their username and password posted in their agenda. You will find the links on my page under student resources.
