Hello! I have been very happily teaching at Clinton Elementary School since 2010.  I began my career at Clinton Elementary teaching 4th grade for one year and have been enjoying my time since in 5th grade.  Teaching and children have always been a passion of mine.  I've known since I was a little girl that the classroom is where I would be most happy - and I am!

I received a BA in English from Niagara University in 2004.  Following college I took time off to travel Europe and the United States.  I lived in Colorado and Vermont before deciding it was time to presue my dream of teaching.  I moved back to Clinton, where I was born and raised, to attended Utica College where I recieved my Masters in 1-6 Childhood Education.  I was extremely fortunate to be hired in Clinton immediately after graduating. 

When I am not in school I love seeing live music, golfing, and traveling with my husband, Mr. Lavender (the Middle and High school band teacher).
