5:30pmAnnotation from Superintendent Dr. Grimm: The purpose of this meeting is to vote on the BOCES budget and election, which has to happen on the same day for all districts in this BOCES. The date selected by the BOCES did not match up with any of our regular meetings, so here we are this week. We also added a few personnel items for convenience and efficiency purposes.

5. NEW BUSINESSA. WHEREAS, the Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES tentative administration budget is adopted by public resolution; and
WHEREAS, copies of the tentative administration, capital and program budgets were received on March 21, 2022 and an information meeting was presented on April 6, 2022;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the tentative administrative budget of the Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Sole Supervisory District of Oneida, Herkimer and Madison Counties, in the amount of $3,936,839 for 2022-2023. OHM BOCES Budget
B. WHEREAS, the election of Cooperative Board members is to occur by resolution; and
WHEREAS, notification was received on March 28, 2021 of the slate of candidates, and an information meeting was presented on April 6, 2022;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education casts its vote(s) in the annual election of members for a three-year term to the Board of Cooperative Educational Services, Sole Supervisory District of Oneida, Herkimer and Madison Counties, for the persons indicated on the ballot. A. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that an unpaid leave day for high school Math teacher Margaret Steele on May 26, 2022, be approved. (Exhibit #3)
B. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the following co-curricular appointment for the 2021-2022 school year, to be compensated in accordance with Article 15 of the CTA contract be approved:
