    3. READING OF THE MISSION STATEMENT

    Clinton Central School proudly educates and empowers students to realize their potential and become thoughtful, contributing members of society.

    4. PUBLIC TO BE HEARD

    The Board encourages public participation on school related matters at Board meetings.  To allow for this, a period of not more than 30 minutes shall be set aside at each Board meeting.  Speakers shall limit their comments to no more than 5 minutes.  The Board will not permit, in public session, discussion involving District personnel or students.  All speakers are to conduct themselves in a civil manner.  Questions and comments from the public concerning matters which are not on the agenda will be taken under consideration and referred to the Superintendent for appropriate action.  If the Board considers a topic extraordinary and requires a discussion taking longer than 30 minutes, the Board will consider designating a separate forum dedicated to that topic.

    A. Policy

    B. BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education accepts a donation from Clinton Sports Boosters to support the 2018-2019 Clinton Warriors Girls Ice Hockey team:  Sports Boosters Donation

    8. OTHER

    A. BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the proposed budget development calendar for the 2019-2020 school year be approved.  Budget Development Calendar

    B. BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, and in accordance with Section III policy and procedure, that students from Remsen CSD be granted permission to participate as combining athletes in the Clinton Central School bowling program.   Combining Agreement

    10. PERSONNEL

    A. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the appointment of Bradley Dunda to the full time civil service position of Groundskeeper/cleaner, to be compensated at an annual salary of $32,000, in accordance with the current CSEA agreement, effective November 19, 2018, with a probationary period of 8 to 26 weeks, be approved. (Exhibit #15)

    B. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the provisional appointment of Michael King to the part time position of Coordinator of Athletics and Communication, to be compensated at an hourly rate of $38.34, up to 10 hours per week, effective November 14, 2018 through December 31, 2018, be approved.  (Exhibit #16)

    C. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the provisional appointment of Michel King to the full time position of Coordinator of Athletics and Communication, to be compensated at an annual salary of $57,500 as per the attached contract, effective January 1, 2019, be approved. (Exhibit #17)

    D.    BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the following placements be approved:  (Exhibit #18)

    1. Emma Henderson, field work under the supervision of high school math teacher Michele Dunn

    E. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the following co-curricular appointments for the 2018-2019 school year, to be compensated in accordance with Article 15 of the CTA contract, be approved:

    F. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the following co-curricular appointment for the 2018-2019 school year, be rescinded:

    G.
