    The Board encourages public participation on school related matters at Board meetings.  To allow for this, a period of not more than 30 minutes shall be set aside at each Board meeting.  Speakers shall limit their comments to no more than 5 minutes.  The Board will not permit, in public session, discussion involving District personnel or students.  All speakers are to conduct themselves in a civil manner.  Questions and comments from the public concerning matters which are not on the agenda will be taken under consideration and referred to the Superintendent for appropriate action.  If the Board considers a topic extraordinary and requires a discussion taking longer than 30 minutes, the Board will consider designating a separate forum dedicated to that topic.

    9. NEW BUSINESS  

    A. RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF EDUCATION FOR THE CLINTON CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT

    WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Clinton Central School District desires to enter into a 5 year contract with the Madison-Oneida BOCES in order for the Regional Information Center to furnish certain services to the District pursuant to Education Law 1950(4)(jj), those services being: CoSer 505 Instructional Technology Services.

    NOW, THEREFORE, it is

    RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Clinton Central School District agrees to enter into a contract with the Madison-Oneida BOCES for the provision of said services to the District not to exceed $138,362.10 plus related borrowing fees, plus yearly Regional Information Center support during the term of this contract, finalized by the Superintendent, subject to the approval of the Commissioner of Education, for a period of 5 year(s); 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21, 2021-2022, 2022-2023.                                                                 

    B. BE IT RESOLVED that the contract between Clinton Central Schools and the Jamesville-Dewitt City School District in the amount of $590.50 for Health and Welfare Services provided for two students who are residents of Clinton attending Manlius Pebble Hill for the 2017-2018 school year, be approved.  Health and Welfare Services

    C. BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the disposal or sale of the attached lists of obsolete property.  Items for Disposal

    D. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the Contract for Rental of Facilities for 2018-2019 school year between the Clinton School District and the Oneida-Madison BOCES for one distance learning classroom totaling $1000.00, be approved.  BOCES Rental Agreement

    E. BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between the Clinton Central School District and R. Timbs Advisory Group, Inc. to provide capital project planning and related services, be approved.  Agreement with Dr. Timbs

    A. BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of educaiton authorizes the Superintendent to sign and thereby execute the attached Agreement between the Clinton Central School District ,the Clinton Teachers Association and an association member on behalf of the Board of Educaiton and District.  (Exhibit #9)
