    Name Time Frame Summary
    Book Fair (Elementary) 1 - 2 times per year Clinton Elementary hosts two Scholastic book fairs each year. The chair for this committee will work with the principal and Scholastic Books to plan and execute the book fairs. Volunteers will assist with book fair set-up, help children with book selections, and collect payment.
    Box Tops & Crayon Initiative Year Round CCS participates in the Box Tops for Education program. The elementary school receives money for each Box Top redeemed. Volunteers for this committee will help publicize drives to collect Box Tops, meet to count and package Box Tops, then send in to earn cash for the school.
    Distribution Year Round Throughout the year, there are fundraisers (Utica Coffee, Gertrude Hawk, Square1Art, etc) and other activities that require items to be distributed. Volunteers for this committee will help coordinate pickup details and/or be available to volunteer for a short shift during the pickup window.
    Farm to School Year Round The Farm to School Committee will explore ideas like bringing additional nutritious options to the lunch menu, nutrition education in the classroom, and composting in the cafeteria.
    Ice Cream Social / Bike Rodeo June Each June the PTA holds a fun ice cream social to celebrate the end of the school year! Volunteers for this committee will help plan for the event, scoop ice cream, and supervise additional activities.
    Membership Year Round The Membership Committee will assist our membership chair with entering membership forms into our online system and recruiting members.
    Staff Appreciation Lunch May - June Every year, the PTA hosts a lunch for Clinton Faculty and staff to show our appreciation for everything they do all year. Volunteers will plan, prepare, order and serve the lunch.
    Yearbook (Elementary) Year Round Volunteers for this committee will gather, edit and assemble photos and other materials for the yearbook. They will work with the publisher to lay out pages and produce the yearbook.
