    Clinton Central School proudly educates and empowers students to realize their potential and become thoughtful, contributing members of society.

    4. PUBLIC TO BE HEARD

    The Board encourages public participation on school related matters at Board meetings. To allow for this, a period of not more than 30 minutes shall be set aside at each Board meeting. Speakers shall limit their comments to no more than 5 minutes. The Board will not permit, in public session, discussion involving District personnel or students. All speakers are to conduct themselves in a civil manner. Questions and comments from the public concerning matters which are not on the agenda will be taken under consideration and referred to the Superintendent for appropriate action. If the Board considers a topic extraordinary and requires a discussion taking longer than 30 minutes, the Board will consider designating a separate forum dedicated to that topic.

     C. BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of Education approves the disposal of obsolete property.     Item for Disposal
                 
    10. OTHER

    A. WHEREAS, the Board of Education of the Clinton Central School District, Oneida County, New York, has called a special district meeting of the qualified voters of said School District to be held on the 14th day of December, 2016; and

    WHEREAS, it is now desired to provide for the appointment of a chairperson and inspectors of election for the special district meeting to be compensated in accordance with the agreement between the Oneida County Board of Elections and the Clinton Central School District;

    NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of Education of the Clinton Central School District, Oneida County, New York, as follows:

    Section 1. Wendlyn Weber, duly qualified voter of said School District is hereby appointed as the chairwoman of the special district meeting referred to in the preambles hereof.

    Section 2. The following named qualified voters of said School District are hereby appointed to act as inspectors of election at said special district meeting:

    INSPECTORS: Wendlyn Weber, Matthew Weber, Gil Palladino, Patrica Palladino, Karen Winkler, Albert Bozzo, Julianna Lillibridge, Diana Huss, Dorothy Kalies, Shirley Knop, Cynthia Higgins and Linda Hauschildt.     (Exhibit #11)

    B. BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the proposed budget development calendar for the 2017-2018 school year be approved.     2016-2017 Budget Development Calendar

    D. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the following placement be approved:    (Exhibit #16)

    E. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the unpaid leave of absence for Danielle Tesak, Middle School Guidance Counselor, beginning on or about January 10, 2017 through March 1, 2017, be approved.    (Exhibit #17)
