    Clinton Central School proudly educates and empowers students to realize their potential and become thoughtful, contributing members of society.

    4. PUBLIC TO BE HEARD

    The Board encourages public participation on school related matters at Board meetings. To allow for this, a period of not more than 30 minutes shall be set aside at each Board meeting. Speakers shall limit their comments to no more than 5 minutes. The Board will not permit, in public session, discussion involving District personnel or students. All speakers are to conduct themselves in a civil manner. Questions and comments from the public concerning matters which are not on the agenda will be taken under consideration and referred to the Superintendent for appropriate action. If the Board considers a topic extraordinary and requires a discussion taking longer than 30 minutes, the Board will consider designating a separate forum dedicated to that topic.

    8. NEW BUSINESS

    A. Policy

    1. BE IT RESOLVED that new Policy #7500, Naming Facilities, be approved.     Draft Policy #7500

               NOTE: This is the first reading.

    B. RESOLUTION FOR RATIFICATION OF APPR AGREEMENT

    WHEREAS, Section 3012-d of the Education Law allows the governing body of each school
    district to adopt a revised Annual Professional Performance Review (“APPR”) Plan for the
    evaluation of teachers, and

    WHEREAS, the Superintendent of the Clinton Central School District and the Clinton Teachers
    Association have completed the negotiations required by Section 3012-d, and have agreed on the
    terms of an APPR, and

    NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Clinton Central School District
    hereby ratifies the attached APPR agreement for the evaluation of teachers.      Draft APPR Plan

    C. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the contract between the Clinton Central School District and Building Blocks Learning Center, LLC, 2050 Tilden Avenue, New Hartford, New York 13413 to provide Speech Language Pathology services from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017, at a rate of $60 per hour, be approved.     Building Blocks Agreement

    D. BE IT RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the contract between the Clinton Central School District and Kim Keane, Au. D., 9 Clark Ave., Fort Plain, NY 13339 to provide educational audiology services to deaf and/or hearing impaired students for the 2016-2017 school year at a rate of $150 per hour, be approved.     Agreement with Ms. Keane

    E. BE IT RESOLVED that the agreement between SamCo Music, LLC of Dolgeville, NY and the Clinton Central School District to provide musical instrument repair services for the 2016-2017 academic year at a cost of $5,000, be approved.     SamCo Agreement

    A. BE IT RESOLVED that the Clinton Central School Board of Education acknowledges with gratitude the years of service to the students of CCS and to the district of retirees Christina Buschmann, Jamie Madden, Wendy Karuzas and Diane Lupinski.

    A. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that Renee Arcuri be granted a tenure appointment in the elementary area, effective September 1, 2016.   (Exhibit #16)
                  
    B. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that Andrea Dunn be granted a tenure appointment in the elementary area, effective September 1, 2016.   (Exhibit #17)
                  
    C. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that Karen Zaleski be granted a tenure appointment in the library media specialist area, effective September 1, 2016.   (Exhibit #18)

    D. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, that Kathleen Fonda be granted a tenure appointment in the Administration tenure area, effective July 26, 2016.  (Exhibit #19)

    E. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the appointment of Jennifer Waligory-Lee to the position of Professional Development Center Coordinator for the 2016-2017 school year, in accordance with the current CTA agreement, to be compensated at (.6) Step 15MA, be approved.   (Exhibit #20)                   
      
    F. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the appointment of Jennifer Waligory-Lee to the position of Teacher Mentor for the 2016-2017 school year, at a stipend in the amount of $2000 in accordance with Article 27 of the current CTA agreement, be approved.  (Exhibit #21)
             
    G. BE IT RESOLVED that the Memorandum of Agreement between the Clinton Central School District and the CSEA Local 1000 AFSCME, AFL-CIO, Unit 7758, be approved. (Exhibit #22)

    H. BE IT RESOLVED that, upon the recommendation of the Superintendent of Schools, the following students be appointed as Student Helpers, to be paid minimum wage, effective July 5, 2016 through August 26, 2016, pending Civil Service approval. (Exhibit #23)
