Mrs. Jennifer Wratten


Jennifer (Reynolds) Wratten is a native of New York Mills, NY.   She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam and her Master’s Degree from SUNY Cortland.  Mrs. Wratten began her teaching career at the South Lewis Central School District where she taught vocal and general music in the Junior-Senior High School.  In 1993 she left her post to take a singing position with the Peter Grey Terhune Production Company out of Cocoa Beach Florida.   She spent several years traveling the world singing on cruise liners in a variety of musical productions.   Mrs. Wratten became the vocal music teacher at Clinton Central Schools in 1998 where she currently teaches music theory, voice lessons, theatre arts, music appreciation, and directs the 6th grade chorus, the middle school chorus, the high school chorus, and the high school chamber singers.  She also produces, directs, and choreographs the annual middle school musical, and produces and directs the annual high school musical.  She is a member of the Music Educator’s National Conference, and the New York State School Music Association.  Mrs. Wratten is seen locally as the cantor at Our Lady of the Rosary Church, and has performed on numerous occasions with the Player’s Theatre of Utica and the Capitol Theatre in Rome most recently playing Fantine in Les Miserables
