I am so happy to be teaching English as a New Language (ENL) in the Clinton Central School District. Let me tell you a little bit about myself.
I grew up in Syracuse, NY, and have lived in many parts of New York including Sandy Creek, Albany, Long Island, Cooperstown, and now Clinton. I graduated from Le Moyne College in Syracuse and became a middle school English Language Arts teacher because I love to read and write and I wanted to share that passion with students. I have always loved to travel and learn about other cultures, so I decided to go on to SUNY Albany to receive my Master's degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have been teaching in that field since 1993 and have been teaching in Clinton since 2005. I have taught English to all levels of students from kindergarten to college and adults. I love meeting students from all over the world and helping them to to learn English. At the same time, my students teach me about their language and culture.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and my dog, Hunter. I like to do anything outdoors, including walking, running, hiking, skiing, and gardening. In addition, I like reading, traveling, cooking, and eating foods from around the world.
I look forward to getting to know you this year. Please feel to contact me at any time by email email@example.com or phone (315) 557-2255.
