  • Clinton High School Awarded Highest National Honor

    Clinton High School has earned the highest national honor a public school may receive from the United States Department of Education having been named a “2017 National Blue Ribbon School.” This is not the first time for such an honor as the Clinton High School and Middle School previously earned the distinction in 1988-1989 and 1989-1990 respectively.     On September 8th the Elementary School, in response to a potential danger, changed the afternoon dismissal procedures to assure the safety of all the children. Throughout this experience, many parents and teachers reported that they would appreciate a safer dismissal procedure than the one that was in place in the past.     This global celebration of literature, creativity, courage and collaboration began when teacher Terry Shay introduced his classroom to Peter H. Reynolds’ book "The Dot" on September 15, 2009.
