Welcome to 6th grade resource room/ reading instruction!
I am looking forward to my eighth year with the Clinton Central School District! It has been a pleasure working along side such a wonderful team and becoming a part of the community.
After high school, I attended SUNY Cortland where I received my BA in Inclusive Special Education. Following the completion of my undergraduate degree in 2011, I began my teaching career with the Liverpool Central School District, teaching resouce room in grades 1-6. After a year in Liverpool, I decided to move back home and was hired at the Holland Patent Central School District. During this time, I taught resouce room in grades 1-6. This was an exciting time for me because this was the school that I grew up in! While teaching, I completed my MS. in Literacy Education.
When I am not in the classroom, I love to spend time with my family( especially my one-year-old son Jake) , head to camp with a good book, fish, and take my energetic dogs Maggie, Luna, and Hank for walks.
I look forward to working with you and your child this school year! I hope that my students can gain confidence in their academic abilities and have a successful school year!
Throughout the school year, a good tool to refer to for resources as well as information regarding resource room is our google classroom. You will find the links on my page under student resources.
