Elementary School Habitat

In December, animals were creeping up everywhere in second grade.  Each second grade classroom created a habitat - ocean, rainforest, woodlands, tundra and wetlands.  Every student made an animal to place in the habitat.  The children wrote a descriptive paragraph which accompanied each animal.  Rotating through the environments, the students learned about many animals.  Family members enjoyed the exhibits in the classroom before the animals moved to their new homes around Clinton.
