THE COMMUNITY:
The
Clinton Central School District is
located in central New York 12 miles
from Utica and 45 miles of east
Syracuse. Suburban/rural
community, Clinton has a solid
educational history that dates to
the early 1700's. Clintonians
include executives, professional
people, and skilled workers as
educators from nearby Hamilton
College. The district comprises some
45 square miles which encompasses
the communities of Clinton, Clark
Mills, Franklin Springs, and the
Town of Kirkland.
THE SCHOOL:
Clinton
High School is composed of grades
9-12 with an average enrollment of
560 students. We support A
Better Chance Program (ABC) which
includes eight students of color
from inner-city areas who reside on
the Hamilton College campus.
Clinton offers a comprehensive,
primary academic, program of study.
Career and technical education is
available at the
Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES Career
and Technical Education Center, and
students with individual needs
receive services in our Resource
Room. Clinton is accredited by
the New York State Board of Regents
and was selected as a school of
excellence in the U.S. Department of
Education's School Recognition
